What a Girl Wants

I was browsing through imeem.com and I came across this song:

Hearing this song again...it puts a smile on my face. & I don't know why. If you listen to the words of the song, you'd figure out that it's obviously dedicated to males more than it is for females. But nevertheless, this song has meaning. I think this song proves that there really are sensitive and caring guys out there; more than you could imagine! & that makes me happy, that should make all the females in the world happy! :)

This song obviously is directed to those men (if you could call them that) who lacks sensitivity, love, and all that good stuff. Those who cannot (or unwilling) to give enough love and care for their partner. I mean, why have one if you can't satisfy her? What's the point? Of course, this doesn't only apply to men. I'm sure there are those women who just don't seem to consider their partner's feelings. Selfishness comes into play & causes us to ignore certain values. Being self-centered is the one thing that shouldn't be present in relationships. It's sorta like, a recipe for disaster. Very bad. If you only care for one person which is yourself, it is unlikely that having a long-term relationship will work for you. One should learn to care about others as much as one cares about one's self. I know, it's true that you cannot love others if you can't love yourself. But there's a fine line between loving yourself so much and loving only yourself. Being in a relationship is not the same as being on a one-way street. It shouldn't be. Being in a relationship is like being on a two-way street. It has to be that both are giving and receiving. To give is to receive.

Anyway, what does a girl really want/need? I mean in terms of emotional needs. What do you think?
