It's back to school again tomorrow. Last term, I had Mondays off and had classes from Tuesday until Friday. This term, I go to school Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, and I have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Even better! Unfortunately, I'm only enrolled in 4 courses right now, which means I'm only technically getting 2.0 credits this term, when I was planning to get 2.5 credits. But, there's still hope because I'm on the waitlist for one of the 3rd-year courses. Hopefully I get in, and soon! Check out Day 4 of my Project 365; I've got a little blurb about going back to school. :o)

Remember my puppy Maxxi? Yup, she's going to the dog spa tomorrow! (What a lucky one!) She's getting groomed tomorrow at the vet hospital. We were a bit hesitant of sending her now because it's winter time and maybe we should wait until after winter, when it's not cold anymore to get her groomed -- but that's going to be a bit of a wait since winter doesn't end until March or even April. So, we decided to get her groomed now, so she'll be looking spiff whenever guests come over to our home or when she goes out for a walk. I'm just a bit worried what she's going to look like after, because I kinda like her fur a bit grown, so that she's fluffy, but her fur is difficult to brush. Plus, she bites and nibbles on herself all the time that she tangles her fur, especially on her legs!

So here's Maxxi now; and tomorrow I'll be taking another photo of her all dolled up! I hope everything turns out well for her. :o)
So, I'm really interested to know, do you have a dog too? Or your own pet? What kind is it and what's the name? :o)

Maxxi is almost 6 months old (on Dec. 7th, she will be)!
Here are some of the adorable pictures I took of her yesterday using my cellphone, after our little walk outside, and just before everyone hit the sack last night.

Maxxi starting to get restless; you can tell by the blurry photo.

Need I say more?

I felt like a mother holding her little bundle of joy.
I ♥ Maxxi!
Don't worry, I won't be venting about how I dislike winter for this entry.

Today, I slept in again. I punched in "10:00am" on my alarm clock and low and behold, there I was on my bed at 10:00am--10:15--10:30--10:45--11:00--11:15am sleeping like a baby. Sometimes I refer to myself as a polar bear, because I like hibernating.

Anyway, the point of me setting an alarm for today, was so that I could finally type up my essay that's due tomorrow. It's an essay about advertising and whether or not some ads are fraudulent or deceptive. Well, my answer is a "no". & no, I won't go into depth with what I discussed but, what do you think? I mean, yes, some ads are just going overboard and they're really misleading. But I think it's all about the use of puffery in ads. Companies have got to make their marketing strategies very effective to bring in the moolah, right?

So, whatever - I slept in and got out of bed an hour late. I think I was having this weird dream about going to some private school, yada yada yada, and all I remember was that just before I opened my eyes, I was jumping around and screaming my lungs out because of a tiny scorpion on my desk. Huh?! What a weird dream.

So then I got out of bed & headed downstairs to grab some lunch. At 1:00pm, I decided to walk my puppy Maxxi. She was so happy and ready-to-go. She usually doesn't get to walk outside a lot, we usually just let her out the backyard to run around. So she was quite thrilled that I'm taking her for a real walk outside. She's kept stopping at every house/lot, sniffing the grass. So we walked around the block for about 15 minutes. She dropped a bomb halfway there & of course I had to pick it up. Imagine if she had diarrhea or something! I wonder if they have Pepto bismol for dogs? Anyway, so we were walking, and she saw this snowball almost her size and she started growling and barking at it. I hadn't realized right away; I thought she saw some creepy crawler on the grass or something. Haha, she's so hilarious & so cute! :) We got home and she wouldn't go through the door. I had to trick her into going inside by giving her a treat. Aww, poor Maxxi. Dont' worry, I'll walk you more often now :)

Just several minutes after we got home from our 15-min walk, the sky started to bring in some flurries and some snow. Maxxi is such an adorable pup. She gets mesmerized by the snow falling on our deck. She'll sit/lay by the backyard door, and she'll watch as the snow falls, and slowly she herself will fall asleep. Trés cute!
