Hey everyone!!! :) I'm back from my month-long vacation. :) Good to be back.
Wow, this blog has been on hiatus for way too long. I haven't blogged for quite some time. For reasons I shall not discuss ahem*laziness*ahem. ;)
Ok well I have lots of stories to tell! My vacation was super duper fun! First of all, because it's my first time going back to the Philippines. After 6 years...I was finally able to go back to the home country :) It felt good. I really felt like I was home. I like that feeling. :)
I saw my friends and had the most fun I've had this whole summer (although summer is not done yet, i still have time to have fun ;p) My friends are still the same as they were 6 years ago. It's so funny looking at our nene days pictures and comparing it to pictures now. Wow! We've all grown to be beautiful people. :) hee hee.
Shopping. I didn't get to do a lot of shopping. I know, right? Can't believe it either. 1 month is really not enough time for vacation in the Philippines. I felt really bummed about that, but what can I do? I'm back in Canada now. No more shopping for me...:( But while I was enjoying my time in the Philippines, I did go to various shopping centres...like Mall of Asia (yup, 3rd biggest mall) and of course the good ol' Greenhills. Damnit, thinking about this again makes me feel sad. :( Moving on...
I did celebrate my 19th birthday there. Celebrated it twice, actually. First with family, second with friends. :) I had a blast! First, my family (and relatives) took me out to this hotel called Sofitel (formerly known as Westin Phil. Plaza) and we ate at a pricey buffet resto, Spiral. Man was that good! I wish my stomach had a little more space. I wanted to taste every kind of food, but my stomach wouldn't allow me. Haha. After that, we just went home. The night after, I went out with my friends to go clubbing/bar hopping. We journeyed to 5 different bars. Dude, it was so tiring! But I had a lot of fun :) So that was that....
I also got to go to the all-popular, perfect-getaway BORACAY island! Now I can say that I've been to the island! The beach, the water, the sand...every where you look, it looks like a postcard! If you wanna see pictures, you could visit my multiply site where I post my photos: bora pics
During our 3rd week in the Philippines, we also got to travel to Hong Kong. We went to Ocean Park (my 2nd time) and still, I had a blast! I was more excited on seeing the pandas though because I haven't seen one in real life. But now I can say that I have! :) Panda's are real adorable :) I wish I had a pet panda :P I also got to shop around a little...not much because unlike before, HK prices have gone way up! That's just too bad. That's about it for HK, coz we were only there for 3 days anyway.
So that's about the highlights of my trip. It was really tons of fun! It sucks that I had to leave early. I wish I could've stayed a little longer. But that's okay I guess...there's always next time. & I hope that next time is soon! I can't wait! :)
