My hands are freezing right now. Why does it have to be so damn cold? Seriously. It's mid-November and I just can't wait to see the first snowflake fall--NOT. Well, I do like snowflakes and all, but I don't like winter! I've been experiencing winter for more than 7 years - I know, right? Am I not used to it yet? Well, it's not whether I'm used to it or not; it's whether I can keep my fingers, nose, ears, toes from falling off every time I walk to the bus stop.
Anyway, that's not the point of this entry. The whole point is that, I'm sad and missing my lola :(
I miss her already! She left for the Philippines last Saturday (the 15h) and it's been a little more than 2 days and I miss her!!! She's lived with us for almost a whole year. She came last December, Christmas Eve. It was the best Christmas present ever! I'm sad that we can't spend Christmas with her this year. But I'll make sure to call her on Christmas Eve to greet her a Merry Christmas. :) I love my lola. While I was growing up, she lived with us and she took care of me. She helped raise me as the loveliest lady that I am now (yes, thank you very much). She's like my second mom. My mom looks so much like her. People say that I look exactly like my mom, therefore when I turn 70, I will look like my grandma. :) She's lovely. She's funny and super caring and I just love her! It's too bad she became a widow really early. I didn't get a chance to know my lolo. :( I respect and praise my lola for having courage to go through life and raise her children, for the most part without my lolo. My lola is such a kind person. She's the best grandma in the whole wide world! :)
