Two to three days ago, I was shopping online for boots and found really good ones at Softmoc.com. Most of them were a bit pricey. I wasn't about to spend more than $100 for boots. I wasn't really a big fan of Ugg boots or Emu boots. I didn't think they looked that pretty. BUT, I found Warmbat boots on the site. Looks like Ugg or Emu boots; they're all Australian made and this particular one is on SALE! Regular price is $120; Sale price is - are you ready for this? - $50! I can't believe it!!! So today, after returning the boots I bought previously, I went to SoftMoc - which by the way, worked out really well for me, because the store was just across Winners. What a coinkidink! I'm really meant to buy this pair! :) So I asked right away for the Warmbat boots. First, the sales lady said that there are only 2 sizes left: 10 and 11. This saddened me, but I said might as well try 10 - maybe it fits! (I'm size 9). Then, thank goodness, she came back with a size 9, which made me ecstatic :) I wanted the darker color, chestnut, but unfortunately, they only have the bigger sizes for that left. I had to take this last pair of size 9 boots, even though it was the sand color. It's still pretty good. Plus, a good thing with lighter ones is that when the snow+salt mixture dries, you wouldn't notice it too much; as opposed to the darker color, where you could really see the mark. I love the back of it (the distinctive Aboriginal back braid)! I don't go shopping a lot, but I Love my new purchase. It's so comfy, I feel like I'm walking on Cloud 9!
